A Healthy Dose of Reality

This article by R.C. Amland, et al. in the Journal for Healthcare Quality is one of my favorites. It's recent, it's based on a large sample size, the outcomes are impressive with big changes, and the disease state is common. It also includes a healthy dose of reality -- the authors state in the "Implications for Practice" section that physicians were annoyed when interrupted by computerized flags on the decision support reminders. But how was the study funded?
